Our new pool features a zero-entry beach section, hot tub heated to a relaxing temperature as well as a Junior Olympic size lap swimming area. The new pool is open year-round, with extended hours from Memorial Day through Labor Day weekends.
Our experienced aquatics instructors offer swim lessons and oversee the award-winning Deerwood Torpedoes swim team.
In the summer months, our full-service snack bar offers a variety of food items, snacks and beverages. Enjoy your refreshments on our spacious shaded patio or our pool pavilion, which overlooks the pool and golf course. We are happy to assist our members and their guests coordinate pool parties.
The Deerwood Torpedo's Swim Team
This fun and competitive program introduces young swimmers to the world of competitive swimming and fosters a sense of teamwork, sportsmanship and fun for each participant. Coach Erin Crabtree has led our swim program for over 8 years. She has had over 20 years of swimming and coaching experience, as well as a current member of USA Swimming and the American Swim Coaches Association. Swim meets include Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings. Children ages 4-18 years who know and can swim freestyle, and whose parents are members of Deerwood Country Club, are welcome to join the Deerwood Torpedoes swim team.
